Soliton Systems Launches NetAttest EPS as an IaaS Service on Azure and AWS

Soliton Systems, a leading provider of IT security solutions, announced today the launch of its NetAttest EPS as an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering on Microsoft Azure, and coming very soon on Amazon Web Services (AWS). NetAttest EPS is a powerful, all-in-one port-based network access control solution that enables a Zero Trust Network strategy. It guides organizations to set up certificate-based user and device authentication, ensuring that only trusted devices and users can access the network.

NetAttest EPS was previously available as a hardware platform on site, but now customers can also enjoy the benefits of IaaS combined with NetAttest EPS, such as:

• Cost savings: Customers can reduce their capital and operational expenses by paying only for the resources they use, without having to invest in hardware and maintenance.
• Scalability and flexibility: Customers can easily scale up and down their network access control capacity according to their changing needs, without compromising on security or performance.
• Reliability and availability: Customers can leverage the high availability and redundancy of Azure and AWS cloud platforms, ensuring that their network access control solution is always up and running.
• Ease of deployment and management: Customers can deploy and configure NetAttest EPS on Azure and AWS in minutes, using a wizard-guided installation and a user-friendly dashboard. They can also integrate NetAttest EPS with their existing Public Key Infrastructure and RADIUS server, or use the built-in Certificate Authority and RADIUS server provided by NetAttest EPS.

In addition to the IaaS option, NetAttest EPS also offers two types of virtual machines, one for VMware and one for Hyper-V, that can be installed on the customer’s own servers. This gives customers more flexibility and control over their network access control environment. The Azure and AWS versions of NetAttest EPS will add another virtual environment geared towards cloud consumption.

The concept of the installation configuration is exactly the same as the on-prem version of NetAttest EPS, so customers can seamlessly migrate their network access control settings from their on-site hardware or virtual machines to the cloud. NetAttest EPS supports certificate distribution to unmanaged systems, including private and third-party devices from partners and contractors. The multiplatform certificate management app (Soliton KeyManager) makes it easy for end-users to install certificates on their systems, eliminating the need for Mobile Device Management (MDM) to provide secured certificate distribution.
