Amsterdam, the Netherlands – 26 July 2017 – Soliton Systems, a leading manufacturer of IT and Cyber Security solutions, announced this morning the introduction of their latest solution SecureContainer – DME 5.0.
The SecureContainer – DME 5.0 is the latest release of Soliton’s app providing secure access to business data and applications. The app has had a major facelift and comes with a complete new user interface allowing fast navigation between email, calendar, contacts and business applications without compromising security features. The intuitive icons at the bottom of the screen enables swift navigation between daily business operations without having to go back to a main dashboard.
What makes the SecureContainer – DME 5.0 really unique is that users can access their email, calendar, contacts and also view, edit, save and attach office documents, all from within one single app. Browsing the Internet and checking the company’s intranet is done via the secure browser embedded in the SecureContainer – DME app.
Moreover, SecureContainer – DME provides complete separation of business and personal data on a mobile device and/or tablet. The administrator only controls the secure container and NOT the private apps, a feature that will be highly appreciated by employees under BYOD/Corporate Owned, Personally Enabled policies. Administrators will have total visibility and full control of the corporate, shared and personally owned mobile devices and tablets, and they can manage the secure container or the MDM settings of the business owned device.
SecureContainer – DME is compatible with all popular mobile Operating Systems, works on almost all mobile devices and tablets, and even supports IBM Domino. The scope of SecureContainer – DME, to secure not only mail, but also corporate intranets and applications on mobile devices with the embedded AppBox, has hit a sweet spot in the market. It is the perfect tool to easily manage the daily office work using only a mobile device and/or a tablet and a single app without compromising on security.
